He recently committed to play football at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and has his eyes set on an engineering degree when it's all said and done.

With a journey that started with one of the most dangerous experiences anyone could endure in Afghanistan with the Battle of Kamdesh, he made a promise to pursue his dream of professional football. After returning home, he walked onto the Clemson football team, wrote a book, played a little professional ball, and then played himself in the movie Outpost (available now on Netflix). Now Daniel goes by the stage name of Danny Del Ray and has been creating music - the passion he now prioritizes.

Laying the foundation for success isn't easily done. Edward Nelson has found a way to do it both athletically and academically as he looks forward to the 2020 NFL Draft. Nelson was awarded a full-ride scholarship by Bill Gates for the entirety of his college education and named captain of the football team at Morehouse College. Now, stuck in an odd quarantine phase, he has buckled down to focus on what's to come and adjust for anything that comes his way.
